Fire Trucks!

Here is Maddie meeting Ivan Ulz, the author of "Fire Truck" - one of her favorite songs! It is a huge hit with the toddler set at Parent Participation. You should see those little faces light up when this song comes on. It is so cute to see them all doing the motions: driving the fire truck, putting on their hat, coat & boots, sliding down the poll, shooting the hose & eating!

Cows & Horses & Hay, Oh My!

Our parent participation class took a field trip today to see the cows & horses at Cal Poly. It was a pretty warm spring day, but we had lots of fun. Maddie petting a calf... fun with hay...
she had the horse eating out of her hand...

I chose not to think about what was transported in this wheelbarrow, besides this precious cargo...and yes, as soon as we got home she was in the tub!
