After watching the double feature, we decided to just wait in town for the newspapers. Maddie stayed awake the ENTIRE time!!! Our papers weren't ready until after 2 am & she was still going!

Summer Varsity Basketball 2009

Matt & several of his buddies that he has played basketball with for the past 3 or 4 years, played varsity basketball for 6 weekend tournaments. They traveled to Santa Maria, Arroyo Grande (twice), UC Santa Barbara, Westmont & Carpinteria. They are a very young varsity team & played against some guys that in Michael's words, "have been celebrating Fathers day for several years!" They did win some games. It kept Matt busy for awhile!

Maddie turns 3!

Maddie turns 3! June 12 was her big day. She LOVES the movie Cars, so we had a Cars cake with party hats & plates! She still plays with the hats (& it is almost 7 weeks later!)

Morro Bay High School Class of 2009!

Congratulations to Lindsay on graduation from Morro Bay High School on June 11, 2009! It was a beautiful summer evening for an outdoor grad ceremony. You never know here-it could be cold, foggy & windy, raining or just plain gorgeous! God blessed us with perfect weather. :)

Lindsay was absolutely beaming, as she should be. After a nice fairly quick ceremony, it was find her, snap a few pictures, & then she had to run to catch the bus to go to Disneyland for Grad night. She didn't even get to come back to the house to eat some cake, so we enjoyed it for her! Ok, I did save her some!

Way to go Lindsay! We are so proud of you.

Catching Up!

WOW! Where have the last 2 months gone?! Time has certainly flown around here. Here it is the end of July already. School starts next month!

Here are some things that have been happening: graduation, birthday's, father's day, basketball tourneys, broken bones, er visits, new jobs, parties, anniversaries, missing kitty, and that's just to name a few! :) let's see how many posts I can get put up on the blog today before nap time (for Maddie that is, not me!) is over. So here is the first one! haha
