After living here for 12 years with a leaky shower & probably not using it for about 10 years, demolition started today... thanks to a generous gift from Michael's folks! Within minutes of their arrival, Jesse & Isaiah set to work and, bucket by bucket, completely removed the shower and linoleum.
Michael & I made a trip to Home Depot tonight & picked out our tile for the shower & the floor. It took us a few tries but then we agreed-even on grout color! Picked out a new shower head & faucet & we're done! Thanks to Matt for babysitting Madeline so we could do this quickly without kids.

Wow- After all this time waiting, it seems like it's getting done pretty quickly! Isn't that tile I see already installed in the shower? Nice! So... who gets to use this bathroom when it's all done? :)

You'll have to have Robert go over and initiate it once it's finished... you know, like he did to the hotel rooms. Don't tell him I said that.
