Matt has an owie! He was playing basketball at Cuesta with the MBHS boys summer basketball team and stumbled over another player. (He had started in this game & it was less then 5 minutes into the game.) When he landed, he landed on his wrist. We saw him get up holding his wrist, but he was at the far end of the court, so we couldn't really see his wrist, yet. But as he came walking up to us, we knew something was wrong. We got some ice on it, but he wanted to stay until half time! What a trooper! But you could see he was hurting as he was watching the game-his feet & legs kept moving! At halftime, I went to give him some advil. But when I looked at him, I told him we were going to the ER. Now! No argument from him. We dropped Michael & Maddie off at home & off we went to the ER. Matt even wanted me to bring the camera! We were in & out of the ER within an hour! Complete with a partial cast & some pain pills!
The only one allowed to sign his cast...Maddie!
